Kirkwall Police are appealing for anyone, particularly from the Stromness area, who may have received a phonecall in the past few days from a male with a Scottish accent who was attempting to trace a female.  This male may have claimed to be from the Aberdeen area and has been described as well spoken and chatty.  Anyone who has received such a call and who has not yet been spoken to by the Police are asked to contact Kirkwall Police Station on 872241.
