The Division is led by Superintendent John McDonald with his team of local Area Commanders, Chief Inspector Gus Macpherson (Ross & Cromarty), Chief Inspector Gordon MacLeod (Western Isles) and Chief Inspector David Bushell (Lochaber, Lochalsh & Skye). The structure is made up of the following;

• Special Constables - 72

The smooth running and efficiency of the Division and Commands Areas is in no small part down to the work of a large number of Police staff who carry out a variety of specialised roles, which include typists, clerical and administration posts.
