The Division is led by Superintendent Stevie Mackay with local Area Commander for Inverness, Chief Inspector Graeme Murdoch. Chief Inspector Jim Neil (Head of Public Protection, Inverness) is the line manager for Badenoch, Strathspey & Nairn with Inspector Alasdair MacLeod and Inspector Murdo MacLeod providing area support. The structure is made up of the following;

The smooth running and efficiency of the Division and Commands Areas is in no small part down to the work of a large number of Police staff who carry out a variety of specialised roles, which include typists, clerical and administration posts.
