The Divisional Commander is Superintendent Julian Innes, Wick Police Station. He is supported by Chief Inspector David Bushell,  Area Commander for Shetland, Chief Inspector Mhairi Grant, Area Commander for Orkney and Chief Inspector Matthew Reiss, Area Commander for Caithness, Sutherland and East Ross.

The Divisional Command Team also includes, Detective Inspector Michael Sutherland, Crime Management Unit; Inspector Alistair MacKinnon, Public Protection Unit and Kathleen Hooker, Business Unit Manager.

The Divisional structure also includes the following Police officers:

• Inspectors - 4
• Sergeants - 25
• Constables - 151.8

There are also a number of Special Constables and Police Cadets working throughout the Division.

In addition we have a number of Police staff who carry out duties which include administration, call handling and typing, traffic wardens and caretaking.
