The command area is led by Chief Inspector Gus Macpherson.  His second in command is Inspector David Greenlees. The structure is made up of the following;

• Sergeants - 16
• Constables - 82
• Special Constables - 58

There are also 56 support staff members working within the Area Command, who fulful a range of essential roles, from cleaning to administration.
