Advice for Football Fans

General Advice For Supporters

  • Do not turn up at the match if you are visibly impaired through drink or drugs
  • Do not turn up with containers such a bottles, cans etc.
  • Do not turn up with flag poles as they will be removed by Police or stewards prior to entry
  • Remember there are children at matches and adults are reminded to curb their language in the vicinity of minors
  • Arrive early in an attempt to reduce congestion and queues at turnstiles
  • Those causing a disturbance within the ground will be removed by stewards or Police and may subseqently be the subject of new Football Banning Orders, which would preclude them from attending any match in Scotland
  • At both Tulloch Caledonian Stadium and Victoria Park, Dingwall fans will be walking to the matches, sometimes on the roads, and drivers are reminded to take extra care on the approaches to both grounds
  • The consumption of alcohol on football coaches is prohibited. These vehicles are regularly stopped by Police for routine checks. Drivers may the subject of Police action if they allow alcohol to be consumed on board
  • Traffic management measures will be in place on matchdays in Inverness and Dingwall. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to adhere to any restrictions in place
Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on matchday

Routes to the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Inverness

If travelling from the south and east join the A9 and follow the road to the Longman roundabout, taking the third exit on the left and follow signs to the stadium. The bus park is located at the south end of the stadium. Away support should head for the South Stand and car park adjacent to that stand.

Routes to Victoria Park, Dingwall

If travelling from the south supporters or coaches should follow the A9 to the Tore roundabout, then take the second exit to the left for the A835 and follow signs for Dingwall. On entering Dingwall take the first available turn to the right, Hill Street, thereafter turn right at the Royal Hotel. Drive straight ahead and take the left fork in the road across the railway bridge and the stadium is on the left, as is the parking area.
