Payment charges for certificates
Fees applicable to grants or renewals are:
Firearms Certificates
- Grant of firearm certificate - £50.00
- Renewal of firearm certificate - £40.00
- Variation of a firearm certificate so as to increase the number of firearms to which the certificate relates - £26.00
- Replacement of a firearm certificate which has been lost or destroyed - £9.00
Shot Gun Certificates
- Grant of Shot Gun Certificate - £50.00
- Renewal of Shot Gun Certificate - £40.00
- Replacement of Shot Gun Certificate which has been lost or destroyed - £8.00
- Shot Gun Certificate which expires at the same time as a firearm certificate (co-terminous) - £10.00
(co-terminous shotgun certificate is only available on grant or renewal of firearm certificate)
Dealer Registration (Valid for 3 years)
- Initial registration of a person as a firearms dealer - £150.00
- Renewal of registration as a firearms dealer - £150.00
- Game Fair etc., principal place of business in another Police Force area - £12.00
Visitors Permits
- Application for a single Visitors Permit - £12.00
- Group application for a Visitors Permit - £60.00
(Group application is valid only if members of the group are shooting at the same place at the same time)
