Update 3 - Missing Person Lybster Sat, 6 Mar 2010 15:46:54 GMT Following a report from a member of the public shortly before 0900 am on Saturday 6th March 2010, Police, Coastguard and Wick Lifeboat attended a remote location approximately 3.5 miles south of Lybster.
The remains of a male person were recovered, conveyed by Wick Lifeboat to Wick, and subsequently identified as those of missing Lybster pensioner Samuel Macdonald. Family members have been informed.
Police wish to thank members of the public and other emergency services for their assistance.
