Update - Police appeal for information with regards two theft related incidents - Inverness

Police can confirm that a 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with an attempted theft and a theft following two incidents on Monday evening (26 July 2010).
The incidents took place at the Infirmary bridge and a shop in the Haugh Area of Inverness.
The man is in custody and a report is being submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in Inverness. He is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court in due course.
