The Drug Squad known now as the Crime Operations Group focuses on the criminal activities of drug dealers that are bringing heartache and misery to our communities in respect of distributing controlled drugs.

It is well documented that the abuse of drugs and Commission of Crime to obtain money to buy the drugs affects everyone within Northern Constabulary's Force area, whether it be a family member caught up in the world of illegal drugs or by being an unfortunate victim of crime committed by a dependant drug user.

The Crime Operations Group whilst targeting those involved in drug abuse will receive information from a number of different sources, this is vital in the Force's fight against drugs within our communities.

All information received regarding drug activity is treated as confidential and no member of the public should fear disclosure of their identity should they provide information to the Police.
