Service Units
The Service Units of Northern Constabulary, coordinated by both police officers and Police staff, are based at Force Headquarters in Inverness. Operational Support
The main function of the Operational Support Service Unit is to provide a wide range of specialist policing to the Force, including road safety and emergency planning.

Administration

F.I.M.U. (Force Information Management Unit)
The F.I.M.U. was created as a product of the Force Review and brings together a range of linked but previously disparate services, with a view to streamlining and improving supporting processes, eliminating duplication and increasing efficiency.
