Scottish Policing Reform

The Scottish Government announced on the 7th September that there is to be a single Scottish Police Force from 2013. Read Chief Constable George Graham's response to the announcment.

The Scottish Government is consulting on aspects of Policing reform (7th September to 2nd November) further information and the consultation paper is available on the Scottish Government website.

The Scottish Government held a consultation on Scottish Policing Reform which ended on the 5th May. The consultation was based on 3 options for the future of Scottish police forces.
