Chief Inspector David Bushell heads the Area Command, with Inspector Ross MacKillop as his deputy. The Command Area consists of the following complement of officers;

• Inspectors - 1
• Sergeants - 7
• Officers - 29.8
• Special Constables - 15

In addition to the above there are also 14 support staff members (formally known as Support Staff), who assist the area command in various roles, from receptionists to cleaners
