UPDATE - MURDER OF ALISTAIR WILSON - NAIRN - 03.11.05

DETECTIVES investigating the murder of Nairn banker Alistair Wilson have issued a fresh appeal to the conscience of anyone who may have information about the father-of-two's killer.

DCI Peter MacPhee, the senior investigating officer in the case, has issued two emotive pieces of footage to two television programmes specifically on the Alistair Wilson murder in the hope that anyone with information will have the courage to come forward.

It is understood the footage will be shown on Grampian TV's Unsolved series and BBC's Frontline Scotland are also producing a programme as part of this fresh appeal.

Alistair Wilson, (30), was shot dead on his doorstep at his home in Crescent Road, Nairn on Sunday 28 November 2004 at around 7pm.
